5) use frequently occurring adjectives (1.L.1.f).

1) My student can effectively recount a sequence of events. A helpful next instructional step for improving this student's writing would be to include figurative language. There are very few adjectives and his vocabulary is quite bland. I would love to work with him to create a more vivid picture for his readers and choose powerful words. (2.L.5.)
